The Infernal Punks have been completely hooked on Hytale ever since it launched into Early Access last month. If you haven’t jumped in yet, picture Minecraft’s blocky sandbox survival style – but cranked up with deeper combat, richer exploration, and a ton of untapped potential. It’s still early days, so the game definitely needs more content poured in (the devs are already dropping patches and bigger chapter updates for the Cursebreaker arc), but what’s already there has the crew grinding non-stop.
We’ve been tearing through our server, hitting every corner of Orbis. Epic dinosaur battles in lush biomes, fighting off night creatures and dungeon monsters, looting chests, taming animals, and exploring from deep caves to volcanic peaks. At this point, we feel like we’ve seen and done just about everything currently available… and we’re starving for those upcoming updates to bring new biomes, mobs, story beats, and fresh ways to mess with each other.
Big shoutout to the core squad who’ve been riding this wave with us:
- Jessa420: The chill builder. She’s spent most of her time crafting cozy bases and massive farms, turning empty land into thriving crop fields and aesthetic strongholds. Pure creative energy.
- SeanDUrban: Adventure junkie on permanent overdrive. Always out roaming, taming wild beasts (the recent taming improvements are a game-changer), looting every container in sight, and hauling back legendary gear.
- Clamdigga: Thrives on danger. If there’s a volcano, a high-risk dungeon, or anything that could kill you in creative ways, he’s already diving in headfirst – probably cackling the whole time.
- Bahadd: The ultimate free soul. You’ll spot him living in the treetops or wandering nomad-style – zero interest in being locked to one base. He’s out there embracing the unbound life.
- Kairxu: Pops in whenever the mood strikes, mostly to capture epic moments. Our unofficial server photographer, always ready for a quick photoshoot in the wildest biomes.
- SoullessRedAfro: Absolute legend for hosting the server… except for that one glorious moment when he forgot to set a password. A random troll joined, turned off every light in our bases in the dead of night, and chaos erupted. We hunted the intruder down, restored the glow, and laughed about it for days.
Hytale’s got that addictive cycle: build, explore, fight, tame, repeat. Even with its early-access rough edges – bugs, missing features, the usual stuff – the patches are landing fast and the foundation feels strong. The Infernal Punks are locked in and counting down to the next big content wave. More dinos? Deeper lore? New trolling opportunities? We’re ready for it all.
